Edit: I found out what the commenter above meant. A full-length album of hardcore robopop based on the music found in-game in Ultratron. In game mode it’s 800p or less with the described weird quirk of black borders despite proper aspect ratio for the display.
And only in desktop mode all resolutions up to 4K are exposed. Has anyone dealt with this before? I'm not opposed to doing it manually, but I'd prefer not to. It only does true fullscreen in desktop mode for me. There is a way to make everything around. But if none of them work, you can force it by right clicking on the shortcut to the game, go to the compatibility tab, and select 'Run in 640x480 screen resolution', and apply that.

I've messed around with the streaming settings on the Link, but nothing seems to quite work. Theres pretty much always a way in game to make it full screen, either the main menu, game play menu, f key, alt+enter. However, I'm hoping there is a way to make this happen automatically. I can also set my desktop to only display on my secondary monitor before streaming, which also make everything display as desired. I can change the game resolution settings and it will then display how I would prefer.
Since my TV is a standard 16:9, this causes games to appear as though they are in a black box (sort of like "letterbox" format back before TVs were widescreen, except there are black bars on all four sides). Switch to Windowed Mode If you continue to have trouble playing your game in full screen mode, switch to windowed mode. When I connect my Steam Link, it will use the default resolution on my main desktop monitor when running games. Select the Display tab to adjust your resolution to 1024 x 768. I recently switched to an ultrawide monitor as my primary PC monitor (2560x1080), with a 16:9 as my second monitor.
